PLAGIARISM POLICY

Current Pharmaceutical Research (CPR) is committed to maintaining the highest standards of academic integrity, publication ethics, and scholarly rigor. All manuscripts submitted to CPR must represent original, unpublished work and must not be under consideration for publication elsewhere.

Plagiarism includes copying text, ideas, figures, data, or images without proper attribution, verbatim copying, self-plagiarism (text-recycling), data fabrication, and data falsification. Any attempt to pass off another author's work as one's own is considered a severe violation of publication ethics.

All submitted manuscripts undergo mandatory automated plagiarism screening using industry-standard detection tools (such as Turnitin / iThenticate) prior to initiation of the peer-review process.

• Overall Similarity Index: Must be below 15% for the entire manuscript (excluding references/bibliography and standard method descriptions).
• Single Source Similarity: Similarity from a single published source must not exceed 5%.

If plagiarism or misconduct is detected at any stage (pre-review, post-acceptance, or post-publication), CPR reserves the right to take appropriate editorial actions in accordance with COPE (Committee on Publication Ethics) guidelines:

• Pre-Review / Review Stage: Immediate rejection of the manuscript without peer review or request for mandatory revisions in minor instances.
• Post-Publication: Formal retraction or correction statement published in the journal.
• Author Sanctions: Temporary or permanent ban on future submissions from the involved author(s).

Author Responsibility: Authors are solely responsible for ensuring the authenticity and originality of their work. CPR adheres to international publication ethics to maintain full transparency and credibility in scientific publishing.
