EDITORIAL BOARD POLICY

The Editorial Board of Current Pharmaceutical Research (CPR) comprises qualified researchers and academic experts with relevant expertise in pharmaceutical sciences and related disciplines. Editorial Board members are appointed based on their academic qualifications, research contributions, subject expertise, publication record, and experience in scholarly peer review. Board membership is subject to periodic review to ensure that the journal maintains appropriate expertise, diversity, and effective editorial oversight.

Editorial Board members contribute to the development and implementation of the journal’s editorial policies and standards. Their responsibilities include supporting the integrity and quality of the peer-review process, advising on the journal’s scope and strategic development, identifying suitable reviewers, evaluating manuscripts within their areas of expertise, promoting compliance with publication-ethics standards, and supporting appropriate action in cases involving potential ethical or editorial concerns.

Editorial decisions are made independently and are based on the scientific quality, originality, methodological rigor, significance, and relevance of submitted manuscripts. Decisions are not influenced by commercial interests, financial considerations, institutional affiliation, author nationality, gender, ethnicity, religion, or other personal characteristics. Editorial Board members must disclose any actual, potential, or perceived conflict of interest and should not participate in the evaluation or decision-making process for manuscripts where their impartiality may be compromised.

Editorial Board members must maintain the confidentiality of submitted manuscripts and must not use unpublished information obtained through the editorial process for personal or professional advantage. They are expected to conduct their editorial responsibilities objectively, fairly, and in accordance with applicable publication-ethics standards and relevant COPE guidance.
