SELF ARCHIVING POLICY

Current Pharmaceutical Research (CPR) fully supports Green Open Access and encourages authors to self-archive their work. Authors retain unrestricted self-archiving rights to deposit all versions of their paper in academic, institutional, or independent repositories without any embargo period, ensuring maximum visibility and long-term digital preservation.

. Permissible Article Versions for Archivingh
  • Pre-Print Version: Authors are permitted to share or archive the un-peer-reviewed manuscript (Pre-print) on preprint servers (such as bioRxiv, arXiv) or personal websites at any time.
  • Accepted Manuscript (Post-Print): Authors can deposit the peer-reviewed, accepted version of the manuscript in institutional or subject repositories immediately upon acceptance.
  • Final Published Version (Publisher's PDF): Authors are encouraged to deposit and distribute the final, layout-formatted Version of Record (PDF) immediately upon publication.
2. Repository Conditions & Citation Requirements

When self-archiving or sharing any version of the manuscript, authors must provide proper credit and citation to the original publication source. Every self-archived manuscript must include:

  • Full bibliographic details (Authors, Article Title, Journal Name, Volume, Issue).
  • A direct link to the official published version using the persistent Digital Object Identifier (DOI).
  • A statement indicating that the work is published under the CC BY-NC 4.0 International License.
3. Preferred Repositories

Authors may deposit their work in institutional repositories, subject-based archives (e.g., PubMed Central, Zenodo, Internet Archive / Wayback Machine), or scholarly networking platforms (e.g., ResearchGate, Academia.edu).
